During my time at McCann Worldgroup, I had the opportunity to work on various projects for Aldi Spain. My main role involved conceptualizing and designing creatives for Aldi’s weekly magazine, a process that required a detailed approach and a deep understanding of the brand’s identity and communication needs.

Aldi

Aldi is a German-origin supermarket chain known for offering high-quality products at competitive prices. Founded in 1946, Aldi has grown to become one of the largest and most respected food retailers worldwide. The company is distinguished by its efficient business model, allowing it to offer a carefully curated selection of fresh products and private-label items.

McCann Worldgroup

McCann Worldgroup is a global network of advertising and marketing agencies, recognized for its ability to create impactful and effective campaigns. Founded in 1930, McCann Worldgroup has evolved to offer a wide range of services, including advertising, branding, strategic communications, digital marketing, and technological solutions for leading brands worldwide.

Creative Design and Layout

My work began with generating creative ideas aligned with Aldi’s marketing guidelines and business objectives. This phase involved close collaboration with the marketing team to ensure each concept conveyed the right message and connected effectively with the target audience.

Once the ideas were approved, I proceeded to design the graphic pieces, ensuring that each visual element was attractive and consistent with the magazine’s aesthetic. This process included creating layouts, selecting typography, colors, and other design elements that contributed to a visually harmonious and effective presentation.

After the design phase, the materials were sent to the photography studio for the production of the final images. We worked collaboratively with the photographers to ensure that the photos faithfully captured the creative vision and met the required quality standards.

Finally, with the photographs in hand, I handled the final layout of the magazine. This stage was crucial for integrating all graphic and photographic elements into a cohesive and functional design, ready for publication and distribution.
